The following payment methods are acceptable for your fine/surcharge: Cash, Money Order (payable to Wheatfield Town Court), or Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa). NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. We do NOT take payments over the phone or online. Note: A service fee of 2.99% of the payment amount will be assessed on all credit card payments. Payments may continue to be made by cash or by a cashier/certified check or money order without imposition of a service fee. Note that neither the municipality nor the court receives any portion of the service fee. If you use a credit card, there will be two transaction receipts generated; one for the court fine and one for the service fee. The cardholder must sign both receipts in order for the payment to be processed.
The Business hours for paying your ticket are Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information, please call the Court Office at 716-694-6793 or stop by the office. The Court Office is located on the main floor, in the back of Town Hall at 2800 Church Road.
The Town Court handles Small Claims up to $3,000.00. Note that the person or entity you are filing the claim against must reside, or have an office for the transaction of business or regular employment within the Town of Wheatfield. It is the responsibility of the Plaintiff to determine if the Defendant resides within the Town. If you would like to file a Small Claim in Wheatfield Court, you must stop by the office between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday to fill out the necessary paperwork which the Court provides. Filing fee for claims from $0 to $1,000.00 is $10.00, and the fee for $1,001.00 to $3,000.00 is $15.00.
If you would like to file an Eviction, they are scheduled during the day or evening on Judge Strenkoski’s Court Night or at 7:30 p.m. on Judge Stamm-Philipp’s court nights. However you must call or visit the Court Office for a date.
Also, the Court does not provide the eviction papers. We can give you information where to purchase them, together with other information that would be helpful to you, if you visit the Court Office. The eviction papers, along with the notarized Affidavit of Service, must be filed with the Court no later than the Friday before the court date, together with the $20 filing fee.

Judge Strenkoski presides on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of each month. Judge Stamm-Philipps presides on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoon of each month. If there happens to be a 5th Tuesday or Wednesday in the month, no court is scheduled. For more information, visit the
