In 2015, the Town Board commissioned GHD Engineers to perform a complete study of the drainage patterns in the Town of Wheatfield. It took a full year to complete and is now available for use by the Planning Board and Town Board in making decisions regarding future development within the Town. It also contains a number of recommendations for ditch maintenance and improvement.

This study may also be used by engineers, developers or other persons wishing to purchase land or buildings here, a complete picture of drainage within Wheatfield, to see if this land suits their needs.

A hard copy is available to view in our Building Department and from our Town Clerk. Copies of portions can be requested or FOILed; there will be charges for copies.
