Wheatfield Town Hall and Community Center
RTO Public Wi-Fi Access Offering
Background: The Niagara-Orleans Regional Alliance (NORA) working with RTO Wireless installed two wireless access points at the Town of Wheatfield Town Hall and Community Center parking lots on the south side of the buildings (Free Public WiFi).
Recognizing the fundamental need for Internet access during the COVID-19 Pandemic by our residents who are trying to work or study from home in areas without high-speed Internet, RTO has offered the following solution at no cost to the Town of Wheatfield, or the end-user of the service during the COVID-19 crisis.
The Offer: RTO Wireless provided and installed a limited number of public Wi-Fi hotspots in Niagara and Orleans (NORA) counties and will be responsible for the equipment and installation costs. The Town of Wheatfield through the efforts of Niagara County Legislator David Godfrey received two of these access points. At the conclusion of the COVID-19 Crisis, there will be no additional cost for the equipment as it will be donated by RTO Wireless to the Town of Wheatfield.
The WiFi is called “Wheatfield Hotspot” and requires NO password.
