Do you know if you are in the new flood zone?. you can visit FEMA scroll down to Niagara County. You can find more information there. The FEMA maps shown on this site were current in September of 2009. There were several changes made as late as November of 2009 which are not reflected in these maps. Current maps are available in the Building Department at the Town Hall. Forms for download are the MT-EZ Used for single family residential structure or lot. MT-1 used to get LOMA's for multiple lots at the same time as well as for other things like Letters of Map Revision based on Fill (LOMR-F).

The Wheatfield Picnic has been re-organized with Mike Zarbo as chairman; we want to bring back that old fashioned style picnic to Wheatfield. We are also looking for businesses in town to step up and help us make this once very popular picnic a success with their sponsorship and volunteer support. Meetings are set for every second Tuesday of the month 7 pm at the Community Center. You can email Mike for more information at mzarbo@safeops.com
